In order to further urge our doctoral students to follow up their academic progress, enhance their academic research ability, and improve their scientific research literacy, our School launched the 2022 Summer Academic Workshop for Doctoral Students in the Lecture Hall X31325 from July 4, 2022, and successfully concluded the Workshop on July 8.
This Summer Academic Workshop was divided into three stages: lectures, exchange seminars, and doctoral students presentations. During the first stage from July 4th to 5th, Wang Jing, He Hongtao, and Lin Bohai delivered three insightful academic lectures with solid content.
During the second stage from July 5th to 6th, each doctoral student conducted exchange and discussion, as well as studied intensively, under the guidance of four Professors Li Xueyong, Tian Yongxiu, Yan Jun, and Xie Yu. Students took part in this workshop with their own academic questions, and professors also pertinently answered different questions that students encountered. In addition, PhD students also took advantage of this opportunity to exchange experience and learn from each other in terms of the experience and problems in writing and publishing papers.
The third stage was on the evening of July 7 and the morning of July 8. Doctoral students reported their academic progress and achievements, and professors gave them comments and guidance one by one.
During this five-day Summer Academic Workshop for Doctoral Students, doctoral students all said that they had gained a lot. On the one hand, they believed that such activities were of great importance to the improvement of their own scientific research quality and academic growth. On the other hand, they also expressed their sincere gratitude to professors for their careful and hard work.
